I wish people didnt bring up IWAY,
But i doubt they will nerf IWAY directly maybe the new classes will even the field.

Nah they are not gonna nerf IWAY they made an AI team of them exactly like players make. If they nerfed IWAY it would mess up the balance of that AI team they wouldn't be as strong.

But, Ranger interupts and recharge time will probably be nerfed. Necro SS needs a nerf, hrmmm lemme see what else. Oh Lightning Orb and Strike needs a nerf. (smile)

Signet of creation destroys all spirits in the area after giving them 30 seconds of -1 regen. It's a ritualist signet with a two second cast and ten second recast. That's pretty powerful, but it means you need to survive for 30 seconds, which isn't all that hard on its own.

I think this is a bug that will be fixed when Factions comes out. I see no reason why they shouldn't be healable. At the very least, it should say "Invalid Target".

The only thing I found that worked was Weapon of Warding, which did give them regeneration.

Uhm, almost except instead of -1 degen it's up to +6 REgen. It also affects minions.

Change IWAY to say that it gives +3 health regen for every dead human ally.

There's this thing called PvE as well. Mantle would be quite annoying with +10 or more regen.

Perhaps simply changing it from "each dead ally" to "each dead party member" could fix the skill.

Uhh No. Just No. Ranger Interrupts counter spells, if you feel annoyed by being interrupted then bring an evade.

SS Is fine as it is, If you die from it then you either haven't noticed it chipping away at your health or you choose to persist. SS killing you is based on YOUR actions not the foe's.

Lightning Strike and Orb don't need a nerf and uhh i don't see why they would ever need to be, there are effective counters for everything, I see things as pretty balanced atm.

Ummm... Thrawn... I think Deathqueen was saying that she feels that the ranger skill might be nerfed not that she feels as though it should be and was not complaining about it. Nor do I feel she was serious about the other skills but rather was commenting light heartedly.

Please in the future take a deep breath and count to 10 before flaming.

hehe. ritualist is gonna turn the game upside down. they wont need to nerf iway, becasue...
rit + NR = full healing and the ranger spirits actually buff the ritualist. that means when iway comes in and lays down NR EoE and Pred they will be HELPING the other team more than hurtin.

I don't like the idea of nerfing at all never did, I think it has ruined the game in many ways since they started their nerfing campain.

However I also do not like that I can't get in to groups because I am not using a ranger secondary or primary.

This I believe is a direct result of past nerfing and over powering of the AI to thwart soloing. Now that so many builds are limited/nutered it narrows the choice for successful teams hence the need/desire for all IWAY teams. More nerfing will just make things worse, Arenanet needs to turn back the clock, undo most all nerfs, accept the fact people want to and will solo no matter what, and admit failure for trying to force otherwise.

Nerf, nerf, nerf. Why don't we just nerf every frickin skill? Then we can all have a click-fest just hacking away at each other. Armor wins. Leave IWAY alone (which I don't use), leave SS Necros alone (which I don't use), leave 55 Monks alone (which I don't use). Bringing new characters in is the only way to truly balance any kind of "superior" build, plus it gives us all something new to play with. :P

WHY do so many people whine and beg for IWAY to be nerfed? It's NOT HARD TO BEAT AT ALL, there are assloads of ways to counter it, and most decent pvpvers should know how. I'll bet every time a dev gets asked if iway will be nerfed and they say no, they're really thinking "What are you, stupid? The ways to beat iway should be obvious!" Maybe the people begging for nerfs just need to take a little look at the skill charts, and mabe just maybe they'll stumble upon one of the four billion anti-warrior skills there are in the game. The ONLY time it's hard to beat IWAY is when you yourself are playing IWAY, and your team is worse than theirs.

Someone addressed that on the first page; its not so much because of it being effective, but rather of it being overused, making the fights lame and unfun.

No he hasn't that is why I won't heal a Warrior useing Frenzy it is just waste of a heal.I would rather heal up the Elementalsit the real damage dealers or other casters.Warriors are for defence not offence.The true damage dealers can come from castors.

i highly doubt iway will get nurfed due to the fact they even made the npc's have a 4 man iway team at the w/e teh place is called lolz...plus iway is so easily beaten...love fighting iway...ez fame!

Huh, I thought the point of this topic was to discuss the pros and cons of the Assassin skill Spirit Walk in terms of it's effectiveness against IWAY groups.

IWAY does lose a lot of it's punch if EoE, Predetory Season, and most importantly, Natures Renewal are not in play. This skill will let W/As quickly get to the enemies spirits and start wailing away on them. Wont help if they put a dust trap up around it though.
